He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be reckoned a curse to him. - Proverbs 27:14
"Rudeness is unnecesarily saying or doing things that are unpleasant for another person to be around. To be rude is to act unbecoming, embarrassing, or irritating.... The bottom line is that genuine love minds its manners."
Today's dare:
Ask your spouse to tell you three things that cause him or her to be uncomfortable or irritated with you. You must do so without attacking them or justifying your behavior. This is from the perspective only.
Jason and I did this one together and I have to admit that it was very helpful. I told Jason my three things and they aren't big deals, but just things I find irritating. The most helpful thing for me was when he told me that he realized that I really didn't do anything to irritate him. Last year when we were having our problems, I thought it was something I did, but he admitted last night that it was nothing I did. He was being selfish and trying to place blame on me for things he did. I can't really put it into words correctly, but I finally realized that it wasn't me. He's told me before that I didn't do anything, but for some reason it finally clicked.

I recently saw this movie and was in total awe of it. I admire your courage and dedication to do The Love Dare together and put it out so publicly for everyone to read. I have you on my list of blogs to check daily. Keep up the good work.

I just found your blog thru a comment you left on Channa's blog about being the perfect wife. I LOVED what you wrote and felt like I was the one writing that. You said everything I feel. I too had a stepmom who made me do things, I do NOT cook, don't keep house that good, and I too feel like I"m not a great mom cause I lose my cool sometimes too (I have a 3 and 8 year old and my husband is gone for 3 days at a time for work)!!! WOW, so glad to know that my "twin" is out there!! Ha Ha. I'm following your blog now by the way!! So glad I found you and can't wait to catch up on your blog from beginning to end!
